I thought about something for a long time today.

We often ask families, friends or people around us how they are doing, but after the question’s on the table, can everyone of us let go of our prejudice and take in their answers just like that? Or, better yet, could we actually courageously admit how terrible we are doing when we’re really down, instead of saying the usual I’m fine? Could we be completely open and accept their terrible stories without judgment, but offer kindness? I always get really introspective at the end of the year, hoping for more growth within myself in the coming year. At the very end of this crazy year for almost every corner on the planet we call 2016, let’s all make a pact to be a more loving, sharing true kindness, deal?  ❤
